greek housing

Is it true that they will be using the Marietta houses for a Greek row? What frats/sororitys are getting places?

I've heard DPhiE, KD, Gamma Phi, PIke, and theta chi were interested.

As of right now no sororities will be getting houses.

All but one of the IFC fraternities are interested, but dependent on Panhellenic's decision that is subject to change.

Even if Panhellenic approves it, Sororities wouldn't be able to have parties or use the house for anything more than living in according to their bylaws.

Panhellenic has already said NO to sororities having houses. Looks like the fraternities will only have houses.

It's still going back and forth. They haven't made a final decision yet

Panhellenic has made a final decision and it was no, but housing and the school are working together to find a loophole so that sororities can move down there because they really want UC to be all greek.

Gamma Phi and Alpha Xi had beautiful houses at Southern Poly. It would be nice if they could get them back.

The problem is that the old southern poly houses aren't big enough for the sororities. KSUs chapters are way to big and the houses aren't even big enough to hold each sororities officers. and they definitely aren't big enough to hold chapter meetings without it being a fire hazard. Not worth the trouble.
