how hard is it to get a bid to a..

by:

So I'm thinking about rushing Kappa Sig Pike or Pi Kapp since I've heard the most about them and they seem to be well liked.. I'm also interested in fraternities with good names like SAE or KA.

My question is how hard is it to get bids to these top fraternities? I hear SAE and KA aren't hard to get bids from and are pretty cool guys.. Can anyone else back that up?

On a side note I didn't like the Theta Chi's Delta Chi's or the D-Sig's I've met. So please don't suggest them.

Way to call out those frats, you seem like a tool so I'd suggest Pike. They'll bid anyone who walks in the door. Kappa Sig definitely won't take you since they mostly rush guys they know or super southern kids. Pi Kapp isn't too hard to get a bid. KA and SAE all you have to do is show up.

You just called him out for calling other frats out then did the same exact thing...

Funny how Pi Kapp turns away more guys than Pike does and yet Pike is still considered the "better fraternity".

funny how your question and description sounds a lot like these other discussion post. You're not a potential and Quit trying to make yourself look good. It's not working.

Kappa Sig and PIKE throw out bids like they're candy, recruitment is a big metric for their national organization so I can't blame them, and a big chapter bank account can't be bad-- I had 3 friends go through Rush this year, 2 of them never attended a KSig event and got bids, 2 of them were in the same boat for PIKE, Pi Kapp gave bids reliably to frat stars which is expected from the 3 because that's what they're shooting for. All in all, if you're atleast decently athletic or funny, you'll easily get a bid from any of those organizations. On a side note, why would you judge a brotherhood based on (implied) relatively small interactions with a very small number of the people?

Doubt the authenticity of that post.
Pike SN and OX all gave out 50+ bids and only pike ended up with a bid acceptance ratio above 50%. Pike ended up with 44 guys after giving 67 bids and SN and OX ended up with somewhere in the mid 20's I believe.
Kappa Sig gave out about 40 or 45 bids and got a pledge class of like 35. Can't remember the exact number for them but I do know the amount of bids was MUCH less than the 3 above And that they had the highest bid acceptance ratio and the 2nd or 3rd biggest class.
Pi Kapp gave out about 40 bids and idk how much they ended up with exactly but it was around 30 guys.
KA and SAE both gave out less than 30 bids each. I know SAE initiated 11 guys after 3 days and idk how much KA started with but they initiated around 18.
No idea how anyone else did. Hope this helped some.

My chapter got all this info from IFC and while its not completely accurate, as I don't have the numbers in front of me, this is about where everyone ended up.
Pike SN and OX give bids to anyone. Pike is really the only one out of the 3 that is difficult at all to get a bid from as they have about 100 guys at each rush event. But you're only interested in pike.
KS gives out a lot of bids too, but they also have about 100+ guys going to each event trying to rush them so they are more selective than pike.
The Delts were pretty selective too, their rush events have close to 100 guys at each. But you don't care about them since they aren't rushing anyone until fall 2017.
Pi Kapp has close to 50 to 60 guys at each event so they aren't too selective honestly. I think they'd be the easiest in top to rush.
KA and SAE both have under 50 at each event usually and are fairly selective. But they aren't hard at all to get bids from.

honestly SAE is kinda low key pretty chill. they only ended up with 11 guys but they only gave out 16 bids to start with. They don't have a pledgeship anymore so they kinda have to be selective during recruitment since they can't just ball kids with the snap of their fingers anymore. I'm not up sae's as s or anything; just sharing what I know.

"^^^LoL^^^" gave the best information as my fraternity got the same info. Honestly you shouldn't rush someone purely based off of rank or name, that's a great way to make yourself miserable for the next 4 or 5 years of your life. Rush where you feel like you'd have fun and enjoy your time. You didn't like OX DX or D-Sig and that's cool, just go out and meet these "Top" fraternities and see if you really like them or not.

In all honesty this was probably posted by a self promoting SAE or KA since no one really thinks either are top fraternities.
