rush after the merger
by: Southern poly studentSo I'm a southern poly student who started last semester after graduating high school early ln the fall, since I'm 18 now I've decided to rush and went to a Sigma Nu event the other day and it was ok, the brothers weren't bad but I didn't click with any of them and there was like 2 girls there. Since I've only ever gone to southern poly the southern poly frats are all I know. Can anyone give me an idea of who to rush here? That might be a little easier to talk to and have ALOT more girls at parties and events? Thanks everyone, nothing against sigma nu at all just not my cup of tea and I hope I didn't sound mean.

Well its cool that you didn't get along with the brothers too well but putting them down for not having girls at an event is uncalled for. Rushing fraternities is about what brotherhood you fit in best with, not who gets the most girls. Though it is nice if your brotherhood doesn't have a hard time pulling.
To answer your question, all of this is opinionated and answers will vary but anyways when I went through rush here's what I gathered.
The delts and Kappa Sig are totally solid,
pike and pi kapp have the next best guys to get along with not an over whelming amount of weird guys.
Delta Chi and Theta Chi are worth looking into as well but I had a harder time conversating with them. Theta Chi is planning a big come back since they were a great fraternity before their hazing suspension, just like Kappa Sig did, I'd say they are the biggest dark horse to look into.
Never met any KA's cuz they're new.
Another thing is why not look into SAE too? A lot of cool southern poly kids and I know a few cool ones.

In terms of who pulls the most? I can't really say outside of my own fraternity really.. But from the common consensus around campus it would look like this.
KS\DTD
PKA
PKP\DX
KA\OX
