by: SsSo are u automatically dropped from a sorority if u don’t meet the gpa requirements ????? I really like phi mu and there’s is a 3.5 but I only have a 3.3

Yeah you might automatically get dropped.but not to be rude you haven’t even gone through the process to know who u like and not like. Sorry to burst a lot of girls bubbles but Phi Mu isn’t all that. They are just a well rounded group with pretty people but sisterhood? Ehhhh overall events? Ehhh ..... y’all stop putting all your eggs in one basket when it’s literally May 31st ..... when I went through rush,a top sorority I thought I would like (not Phi Mu) was actually not even close to what I wanted to join at all! So top or sorority or not, some things may not be what u think you want so seriously top with this gpa Phi Mu thing bc they aren’t all that (that was directed to everyone) (Phi Mu is great and well rounded I really like them but I also like other organizations just as much)

Exactly. Just because a sorority is considered “top” doesn’t mean they have the best events, best sisterhood, etc. Join a sorority because you connect with the girls & they’re real, not because they have a pretty girl reputation. Phi Mu is great, but so are the “underdog” sororities like Gphib, Axid and Zta. Just because they’re new doesn’t make them any less pretty or social than Pm, Kd, Aoii, or Dphie. If I lined up random girls from each sorority and had you name off who’s in which sorority, you wouldnt be able to because tiers/ranks don’t really exist here no matter how hard people want to believe it does. I tried so hard to think I belonged in a certain top sorority just because the girls are pretty and nice during recruitment, and guess what...They dropped me when I was sure they wanted me and I was ignoring the true sisterhood of a “lower” sorority but I’m so much more happy than I would’ve been in the other. I hear my friends talk about how they want to drop and they hate it because it’s so fake. So choose a sisterhood because you love it. Not because their instagram is perfect, not because your friends are wanting to join it, not just because they’re pretty.
