dues??

they will give you a sheet at orientation with new member dues for each chapter (first semester of being in the sorority) at orientation! they range from $500-$800 i think? I cant remember off the top of my head, but I do know that aoii is like $800 the first semester (no i'm not an aoii). after your first semester every sorority is about the same. its usually somewhere from $80-$100 a month. usually the sororities who are $80 make you pay out of pocket for more things such as events, and will even have random fees pop up that you have to pay for. you can ask every sorority during recruitment about their specific dues.

i think its important to add that if you are an active member of your sorority, it will cost you more than just your monthly dues to participate in things. any time there is a social, date night, etc, you will probably pay out of pocket. i think every chapter pays out of pocket for t shirts. things like formal and semi you will want to buy a dress for etc etc. things add up!

I think the only reason why Aoii is that much the first semester is because it’s all inclusive. The only thing they pay for out of pocket is t shirts. So for example Dphie has to pay out of pocket for formal and disney and events like that plus dues so that easily adds up to the same. You’ll be paying the same amount pretty much with most of the sororities.
