Sororities do stuff like once a week. I’ll break it down per semester. So after your first semester (You may or may not have increased dues the first semester but then it goes down). You will probably be paying around $100 a month, but it goes towards a lot. With that for fall semester (Pretend fall semester when you’re a second year) you have semi, probably at least 2 mixers, sisterhood events (whether you’re getting a little or becoming a little you’ll have like a bunch to go to to the weeks leading up), tailgates (home games!, semi formal (or formal) (super nice event like homecoming but nicer because it’s at a venue), homecoming week, possibly a social (Phi Mu and Aoii have huge Halloween ones that are both really fun you can bring 2 people. Spring semester you’ll have at least 2 mixers again, sisterhood events (especially more if your sorority has to do spring recruitment like axid and zta), greek week, formal (like prom but better), sisterhood retreat (I know Kd had theirs at a movie theatre that serves you meals, Zta and Aoii have theirs at Six flags today, Dphie has theirs at Disney. socials (Dphie, Zta, and Gamma Phi all have Valentine’s day socials (bring 2 people) and the other sororities have Valentine’s day parties (bring 1 person). And a bunch of other stuff in between like founders day and other parties that you can bring a date like Kd emerald city. It’s so worth the money. You should ask the sororities when you go through if dues are including everything or if you have to pay out of pocket and if so how much like obviously Dphie has an awesome sisterhood retreat but it’s hundreds of dollars out of pocket on top of dues so if you don’t think you can pay it at the time you should start working in the summer to save for potential trips like that!

If your concerned if a sorority does something or not I suggest going to follow all the sororities on Instagram not just your top 2 and then looking at their stories, pictures, and tags. It’ll really show you how often sisters get together. Your also allowed to follow the girls on Instagram so don’t go crazy but if you want to follow like 1-2 girls from each sorority or whatever then it won’t be crazy just don’t go following the whole chapter lol
