by:

I saw that someone asked if we still get bids if we weren’t in any clubs in highschool??? I wasn’t in clubs either so should I be worried??? I know Phi Mu is toughest to get into but what about KD or any of the others?

You’ll still get a bid but find something else you can talk about. Did you have a job? Did you volunteer anywhere outside of school? Did you do anything within church or something?

Most of them will if you have strengths in other areas. If you have an AMAZING conversation then your involvement isn’t going to ruin whether you come back the next day... There’s tons of factors that go into whether or not someone comes back not just clubs and sports.

Maybe volunteer or do something now and put it on your application
later. Greek life is a commitment and it comes with so many events and things so being involved in an organization with school just shows that you can be committed bc they are all looking for a four year girl not just a year and drop. So if you weren’t involved try finding something that you do have commitment with and talk to them about that

Yes. But we want involvement because WE want YOU to be involved when you join. A sorority is more then a group of girls or something to belong to. You get what you put in. That means get involved. Being in a sorority takes time, money, and involvement. It’s not just partying and being social. It’s giving back to the community.
