When you register, panhellenic will let you know what to wear each day. Typically the first day girls wear sun dresses, rompers, etc. On the second day your given a recruitment shirt & you wear that with whatever (denim skirt, cute shorts, cute jeans). Then on philanthropy you wear a nicer dress (nicer than a sundress but less fancy than a formal one) & do not wear black, white, or red. You definitely don’t need rec letters, but if it’s convenient then get it. I got them for my top 2 choices and that’s who I ended up preffing. And yes obviously connections help with anything but it’s not the end of the world if you dont have them. I didn’t know any girls in the sororities except 1 (we weren’t close at all) and they dropped me, so it’ll be fine if you dont have those relationships.
