what to look for in fraternity spring rush

yeah relax and have fun. don't worry about ranks or getting into a top fraternity at all. if you like trem or want to give them a try and they happen to be top, cool. if you like them but they happen to be bottom then rush them anyways.

these aren't ranks just descriptions.

KS PKP: been at ksu forever and hang with every sorority and have the biggest tailgates for football season. they throw a good amount of socials and parties and are close guys, so its well worth it but don't expect it to be as crazy as a sec or big10 greek life scene, though they've been compared to it. they have a tough pledgeship and bidding process but honestly as long as you show up and meet as many guys as you can you get a bid and their pledgeship will be fine.

KA DX OX: they're all good options but seem to be less selective when bidding and going through pledgeship. this makes it a lot easier for you to get in but it also makes it easier for some weirder/not so fun guys to get in as well. all in all they have a good time with sororities,throw a good amount of mixers and socials, and have good tailgates but they seem to fight each other a lot.

SAE DTD SN: all are sort of selective when bidding and pledging guys except its easy to get a dtd bid and sae doesn't have a pledgeship. all are decent guys but they don't really have as much fun since theyre smaller. still their focus is on brotherhood and philanthropy, and they end up throwing decent parties socials and tailgates too. sororities still love them and overall, while they're less social, they are a lot of fun still.

DSP SP: good options nice guys and all but are less selective and are either new or smaller. if you choose one or the other you will have a great time and make life long friends.

TKE AEPi: good options as well but i don't know very many. look into them for sure but don't go in expecting any knowledge about them.
