were kind of hesitant and skeptical but rushing.

So both my sister and i have decided to go through rush this year, im a guy shes a girl. We both are from rural GA and have tons of friends here at KSU who have got us into parties and events here so we can scope it out. Essentially from what ive been told and seen is, your life is pretty boring here unless you go greek.
We both come from a very close and socially active group in highschool. Meaning we liked to throw a lot of parties or all go on camping trips to get hammered and blazed etc, so wed like to have something similar here. From what ive gathered here there are a lot of options for us but we're sort of worried about how selective it is here.
I know this isnt UGA or Bama but were curious if wed even have a chance rushing top frats and sororitys. We arent set on only rushing them but wed like to AT LEAST have them as options. How difficult would it be to get a bid to the more fun and close fraternities and sororities here? KS PKP KA SAE SN etc? PM AOll KD AXiD DPhiE? Is it worth coming out or are we wasting our times?
Weve been to events and parties or at the very least met everoyone ive mentioned, they seemed nice and encouraging enough. Just looking for more opinions. Thanks.

For guys rushing fraternities is fun chill and easy. Just keep up with each fraternities instagrams and summer events to get a head start on who you like and dont like. Go to parties have a beer smoke some green with their bros and chill. Who ever you like most and interview with will probably give you bids, yes even KS and PKP.
TBH if i was your sister i wouldnt rush at all. She sounds chill AF and the entire rush process for girls is bull sh-t. You cant do anything and 90% of the time you dont get the sorority you want, since the rush process is set up so everyone gets girls pan hell essentially picks where you go for you. "They know better than you do, trust the process", its a load of crap.
If shes into partying there are like 2 sororities that dont really bug you about it, AOll and AXiD are chill AF. the rest will literally tear her a new ässhole if she does something at a party they dont like. Keg stands, ripping a 5 foot bong etc. Theyll be super annoying.
Im no girl but if i was i would never rush. For guys its pretty fun. Just my 2 cents good luck.

Dance marathon ? Ftk? Philanthropy events? 5k fundraising?
The list goes on, not to mention sororitys and their sister hood and frats with a tight brother hood

He mentioned brotherhood. Community service is great but wed all be lying if we said that was our main focus. Not gonna lie i love my frats philanthropy events and love showing out for other frats events to help them out as well but college would be so stressful without decent social and party schedules.
I see what yall are saying but lay off of the guy geez.

yeah she knows about all the rules they have for rush here and she still ants to do it.
