I heard Pike is a good sorority

DphiE- Them and Phi Mu are the oldest on Campus, both chartered in 89. They aren't nationally well known, but their nationals are trying to expand rapidly, so not a lot of oversight into individual chapters. DphiE here is infamous for going out of state for very extravagant and expensive formals. They've been to New Orleans and this year is the Kentucky Derby. I think a 3.0 will be fine to get you in, but they are VERY image obsessed. It's all about what frat party they went to, who posted what on insta, only the hot sisters are featured, etc. They party HARD, like they could drink a PIKE under a table. Very cliquey, stick with their family tree and won't talk to other family trees. They don't haze, but i do know a handful of girls with skin issues who had been shamed into wearing a full face of makeup 24/7, even when they weren't wearing any type of letters because they where told they weren't hot enough without it.

Phi Mu- Also been here since the beginning, they have the highest GPA standards out of all the sororities, and are the most exclusive. If you don't have above a 3.5 and know a sister who can sing your praises, you're not getting into Phi Mu without a stroke of luck. Very strong in the south since their Alpha chapter started in Macon, GA. They are super super pretty, very polished, always well dressed. But no personality, it's hard to hold a conversation and they always would rather talk to each other then anyone else. Not involved on campus very much excpet once a year for Dance marathon. Loves Buckhead, and Buckhead loves them. Pretty solid sisterhood, but they are infamous for cheating at events to win, DphiE as well. Name over everything.

GphiB- A lot of frat guys and shallow girls will tell you that it's better to drop recruitment then to go GphiB, and thats so not true. Being 100% honest, GphiB doesn't throw ragers, they aren;t known for being hot, they don't mix with the top 4 frats, and their fairly small on campus. But I have never seen a group of girls so devoted to each other. I had a roommate who was GphiB and one of her sisters had to go to hospital for kidney stones. My roommate woke up at 2am to rush her to the ER, and her and the other women in the chapter took turns sitting with her till her parents could come. They all love each other, and their devotion to their philanthropy is insane. You need a 3.0 to get in, assume all of them do to be safe. No hazing, super nice, and all very unique. Some are a little odd but none are nasty.

ZTA- To be frank, I don't know a lot about whats going on with them this year. They are the second newest sorority on campus, chartered in maybe 2013/2014, and they did win Greek Week their first year here. There was a really awful incident where a Zeta passed out at a party and a bunch of frat guys peed on her and took a video and sent it around. The frat got suspended, and their rep and Zeta's has been a little rocky. I know they didn't so hot with Fall 2016 recruitment, so I'm under the impression that they've been laying low to rally their forces for Fall 2017. 3.0 is good, and I don't think they haze. I've never met a mean Zeta, but to be honest I haven't met very many of them.

AXiD- Lil baby sorority on campus, their the newest, Fall 2017 will be their second formal recruitment. Verdict is out on the general characteristics of the chapter because they are so new, but they'll be the easiest to get into because they need numbers right now more then anything. This does't mean they aren't great! Everyone in AXiD reps their letters with pride, and they're so excited to be here. They came from Southern Poly and made a new chapter at this campus, a lot of the Alpha class and founding mothers are geniuses. Nothing more impressive then a 4.0 in Electrical Engineering and being in a growing sorority. They like to party, they aren't super prevalent on campus yet, but their getting there. Ready to see what this rush week has in store for them. No hazing, good sisterhood, really into their philanthropy.

AOll is all over KS KA and Pike as always but is branching out this year to SAE and DX too. So id say since these were some of the most active frats for parties and socials. (except pike obviously..)

AXiD has been to a ton of KS events if im being 100% honest here. After PM KD and AOll id say they even edge out DPhiE at the moment and theyve done a spectacular job with their pnms considering how new they are. (Just like KD and ZTA before aforementioned event at a DTD west 22 party) top relations and so far so good rep for them!

GPhiB may not mix with the top 4 but i have seen them more often at the Top 4s parties. A lot used to hang with PKA and DTD if you remember and now both are back. Things are looking up for them.

ZTA didnt have the best class but their older girls are pretty solid! Honestly theyre still a great sorority who is one of PKPs top 3 favorites here.

All are great options. Ive been here 2 going on 3 years now and this is just my opinion. Love my sorority, im in non of the ones mentioned.

I would take these responses and this website for what it is. A discussion board where anyone can post literally whatever they want. While I'm not saying all of those descriptions are wrong, a lot of them are. Really just go through recruitment and see which sorority you feel most comfortable with. Don't take someone else's opinion as fact, because it's not.

From an outside prepective this is what in my opinion what each sorority is like based on what I see at parties, in class, and around campus
AOII: a solid group of girls, they aren't out on the green really which is disappointing bc many say they are basically top tier, they could use work in areas, but wouldn't be upset and pretty satisfied getting a bid from them
KD: a fun group of girls that are involved and see them out on the green a lot, but can be known as party girls and girls that don't believe that modest is hottest if you know what I mean. But overall, you'd love getting a bid from KD
Phi Mu: basically the Regina George of sororities here, you love to hate them, they love their own little phi mu clicks and of course they think they are top, the think all the frats love them, but frats have their favorites and they are not all phi mu. But they do get out on the green, great philanthropy... if you're interested in being liked based on how well you sell yourself then getting a bid from them you please you
DPhiE: they love competition, they love fighting for top sorority, a lot of girls are a good time and really take pride in their chapter... with that being said, they can have their drama and have drama queeen girls but over all great sisterhood events and formal destinations, claim they are one of the cheapest sororities but definitely extra add on.... if you are pretty and you know it then you'd probably get a bid from them
