phimu?

I'm transferring here and rushing as a sophmore and have some questions!!! I heard Phi mu is strict on gpa, what is the requirements for girls already in college?? I have a 3.39, would they cut me?
And just to help me out since I don't go here yet, what type of girl
Does each sorority look for?

Phi mu cuts off at a 3.5 so not sure you would have much chance with them. Your gpa is good though so you probably shouldn't have a problem getting a bid based simply on gpa.

If that's true then that kinda sucks for girls with still good gpa and who are great people

I know they like girls with a gpa but that striction is just ridiculous

You should honestly give all the sororities a chance. Don't just have your heart set on one because if you do and you get cut you'll be crushed. Plus you may fit in better somewhere else.

Exactly what "sorority girl" said. Don't have your heart set on one sorority, especially a very competitive one like phi mu. They cut 400 out of 600 girls the first day of recruitment last year. they're tough unless you know someone. Definitely keep an open mind to the other sororities because they're honestly all great.
