Chapters can't say exactly how they choose PNM's and who advances each round, but it's mostly a number game. Yes, if you have a GPA below minimum they'll probably drop you first, and if you had a really uncomfortable conversation then that probably won't go in your favor. A lot of schools will have each girl who spoke to you rank you out of 10, then find the average. If your "score" is above say a 6, they'll invite you back. Just remember that they might really like you and think you're a great person and would be an awesome sister, but if they go by the number ranking, and you're a 7 but another girl is a 9, she'll get the bid before you. It's not you! Just a system that tries to find places for over 400+ women

No matter what, just be yourself and you will find the right home for you! Sororities all have different systems for finding who the best fit is for them, but you want people who love and accept you for who you are!
