sorority prices
by: sororityWhat was the price of recruitment last year? And what is the price of new member fees and sister dues?

I believe recruitment was $110 before a certain date and then $120 after that date. Every sorority is different when it comes to dues but the first semester is always the most expensive. I know aoii is the most expensive by a lot it's $800+ the first semester and my sorority is $600+ the first semester and then $100 a month after your new member period is up. Each is different but they range from $500-$600 the first semester.

Some sororities (like AOII) are all inclusive, meaning although it looks more expensive on paper, it seems to be a lot cheaper in the long run. The only thing those girls pay extra for is tshirts! Their new member dues are kind of expensive, but after that it is only like $94 a month! Phi Mu has a similar set up too, being about $68 a month, but they still have to pay extra for some things like date nights and such. But some chapters, like DphiE have to pay extra for almost everything such as date nights, sisterhood events, mixers, etc. I think their "dues" may be around $50-60, but they always have a lot of extra stuff tagged on to that. I am not involved in Greek life, so I only have Greek friends in these organizations so that's all I can speak for. I hope this helped!

Recruitment was $100 to rush last year and then $120 after that date. But every sorority sets their dues up differently like the first person said. New Member Dues are the most expensive. I know for a fact AOII and GPHIB are the two most expensive sororities currently. AOII is around $800+ The first semester and GPHIB is around $600+. I know the others break down their dues differently. It looks pricey on paper but they have different payment plans. Just know that you are making a commitment to an organization so it will take money. You get what you put into it though so it's worth it. Most dues are all exclusive so they pay for most trips and such. Not sure if the prices will change though honestly.
