attention pnms: (from auburn but so accurate)
by: GoGreek"My message is directed to sorority potential new members, but I believe many upperclassmen will agree with me. Ignore these rankings. I know. I was you last year. I wanted to know what each sorority's reputations were, who were the popular girls, the preps, the partiers, the church-goers, etc. I looked on here before recruitment to make my own list of where I thought I would belong, but by bid day, I was in a completely different place. Do not let this website dictate your decisions. The majority of this website is so skewed anyway. I TRULY believe that Auburn is so lucky because tiers do not drive Greek life. I have friends in different sororities all over the so-called "tiers." You can truly find every type of girl in every sorority. During recruitment you'll meet several girls in each sorority, and honestly during those parties you will be able to gauge if your values line up with the person you're talking to. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about what you are saying. I know it is super stereotypical to say, but it's so true that you will end up where you belong whether you realize it initially or not. Go in with an open mind. You'll find the group of women who love you, and you'll love them. Recruitment is such an emotionally and physically exhausting process, but the sisterhood is truly worth it in the end. I am so proud to be a part of Auburn's Panhellenic community and thankful that used my own opinions to chose my home as opposed to some anonymous website"

Literally stop. Your home is your home and if you are or aren't a "top" sorority it literally does not matter. You're exactly where you're supposed to be and if all you care about is popularity then you don't exemplify the true meaning of what it is to be in a sorority
