ranks are dumb here's why.

Rankings dont mean that rushing anyone outside of Top isnt worth it, all rankings do is describe who has the most or the best parties, who mixes with the more attractive sororities or fraternities most and who gets the most guys or girls or who is most exclusive during rush. Really each fraternity or sorority fits a niche and a personality. one niche or personality is not better than another its just different.

There are really 3 types of personalities. With dumb derogetory labels attached to each group, one group will use this against another to make fun of them.

-Busy,love to compete whether it be getting the most #'s or winning events. People call them try hards.
-IDGAF,would rather party who bond with brothers or sisters. Dont really care to compete. People call them lazy.
-Introvert,brotherhood of guys just looking for like minded close guys, dont care to party or compete. People call them weird.

Usually each organisation in these personalities pulls from the same group of people and there is sort of a hierarchy within those groups. In order in personalities.
