OPhiA is a fun sorority and is great for people who might get overwhelmed in more "social" sororities. They focus on getting service hours and it seems like everyone in the sorority is pretty good friends with each other. However, since it's not a panhellinic sorority, there's pretty much no interaction with the other frats/sororities on campus and at times it can feel more like a club. The service events that they plan are a lot of fun, and there's also a lot of variety in them. For example, we had an event where we volunteered at Zoo Atlanta and ended up getting free tickets in exchange. The people are very friendly and it's really easy to talk to everyone outside of sorority events. Check it out if you're interested!

I love this sorority so much. I didn't feel like I would really "fit in" in another sorority, but this genuinely feels like home. I feel so welcomed and I know I can just be myself and still have all the fun aspects of soroity life!! I also really live how service based they are, they really exhibit what they believe in.

This sorority so so inclusive and close! The sisterhood is absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone who loves service and friendship! (Especially if you are not a frat-party kind of person).

They are a service sorority, you get what you pay for (not a lot). If you are not interested in mixing with other greek organizations, you don't care about national involvement, and you aren't going into a field where alumni contacts are helpful, O phi A might be for you. With that being said it's still a sorority, they still have cliques and pettnies.

I am not a Member of this sorority, but I know some of the girls in it. They had a rough time a few years ago but are now getting back into it with a new board. Super sweet and friendly girls and I see them all the time on campus doing service events. They are not a party sorority and don’t socialize with others much but they seem to have a great sisterhood within. If you’re looking for a non typical sorority that still does a lot of service and sisterhood events and where you can find true friends, this is the one.
