What's Hot - Rochester Institute of Technology - RIT

The house is divided into cliques and can be super catty. Not very social with other organizations, on campus, or within themselves. The seem to be very active in the partying scene but not so much in the philanthropy scene. I'd say average overall at best, not the worst but not even close to the best.

A nice group of girls, but honestly just an average sorority. They do well in many areas, but you don't see them putting their name out there too much, and they're one of the few greek groups where I have no idea what their main charity event is.

I think that sometimes, the campus gets the wrong idea about the KDR's. You may not see them always doing service on campus, but that's because they're heavily involved in the Rochester community. I'm not a brother (I'm a girl), but I know their brotherhood is strong. It seems like every weekend an alumni is visiting, they're visiting brothers on co-op, planning trips to recent graduates, or visiting another chapter. Genuine, awesome group of guys.

Best fraternity on campus. They have broken TWO world record, with MUD TUG being the most recent one. Raised over $10,000 for charity this past year, far more than any other Greek organization. The strength of their brotherhood, passion for doing things is amazing. Their structure for conducting, delegating and performing work is highly remarkable. Whether its meetings, retreats or any other business event, there is a structure that is always followed by these men. Rush and check yourselves!

The chapter is barely two years old and is very involved in terms of philanthropic work. Some of their larger events include Haunted Trail (cosponsored with Delta Phi Epsilon), Beach Day (cosponsored with Kappa Delta Rho and Alpha Xi Delta), and the popular Derby Days. The chapter currently has the 2nd highest GPA among IFC fraternities (behind AEPi).

The group of girls are a little odd, kind of more like the girls you never expected to go greek that did all in one house. That being said, without a doubt the nicest group of girls you will ever meet. They care about each other and I have never heard one say a bad thing about another. They may not be the best looking or the best known but they have the greatest sisterhood.
