what is rush like?

I'm going to be transferring here from UT, and I was curious how frat rush is here?
Would somebody please explain the fraternity rush process here?

first semester:
identify 1-3 frats you're interested in. narrow it down to 1 by three or four weekends in. get to know the brothers, go to their parties and pregames, get girls to go to their parties. try and meet whoever is in charge of rush and introduce yourself. stay in their good graces.
week before spring semester: official rush. go to their events. at this point you'll have a good idea of whether or not you're in depending on how last semester went.
this is what an ordinary path would mostly look like. but there are definitely guys who switch midway through fall semester or blow an interview or piss someone off or just change their mind.
