Legacy to a sorority

How important is being a legacy for PNMs. Do houses consider that at all?

It isn't as important as it may have been in years past.
Being a legacy in itself is not enough to guarantee a bid to a house. You may decide you do not vibe with the house you are a legacy of once you go thru Recruitment. That's why the best advice really is to be open-minded to any and all possibilities as a PNM.

The trend nationally is not to give legacies any preferential treatment in relation to non-legacies in attempt to even the playing field and broaden inclusivity. If/how this trend influences chapters at k-state, I guess we will find out.
