high school grades during rush
by: pnmHow important are high school grades during fall recruitment? I don't have a 3.0 but I'm planning on taking a few classes through K-State this summer to get ahead. Will sororities still only look at my high school grades or will they also look at my KSU transcript?

You could double check with Greek Affairs, but as far as I know if you're an incoming freshman they'll look at your high school grades. In which case I would wait to do spring rush or rush as a sophomore. All the houses I know automatically cut all girls below a 3.0 high school GPA. (If anyone does know of a house that doesn't cut below 3.0 correct me if I'm wrong!)

I had absolute awful grades and still rushed... like really bad lol. I got cut from all the top houses I liked. But it worked out good cuz looking back I guess I didn’t really fit in with them anyways. I’d give it a try.
