dropping one fraternity to join another

Well you may be seen a volatile in that recruitment chairs may be afraid you will drop if they give you a bid. But also, most recruiters understand that sometimes you end up at a house that you don't fit in with, so some will give you a chance. 2 guys in my pledgeclass dropped Lambda, and there have been a few Phi Delt drops in one of the previous pledge classes. I wouldn't say it's easy to join another if you drop, but it's not impossible to get a bid elsewhere. It may be harder though if you are going into your sophomore, junior, or senior year though, whereas it wouldn't be as hard if you dropped in the Fall of your freshman year.
