sophomore recruitment

by: Sup

Do sophomores going through recruitment have equal chances with each house as freshmen do? And do the top tier houses still accept sophomores?

It kinda depends. It definitely lowers membership potential since you would only be in the chapter 3 years instead of 4. But if there are a small amount of girls going through recruitment it doesn't matter as much.

I think it depends on the house. I know my sorority personally doesn't take your year into consideration unless you're going through as a junior or older. They do however take your college GPA into consideration while recruiting over your high school GPA. I believe that the grade risk for a college GPA of a sophomore going through recruitment in my chapter was a 3.0

Do you mind me asking what chapter you are in?

Tri Delt. We can only take 2 grade risks as well, so if your collegiate GPA is below a 3.0 it'll be a lot more difficult to get in.
