"be 100% sure of your choice"
by: WowOk there was a recent post about being, "100% sure of your choice because there aren't do overs." That is absolutely not true at all. You can drop, go through COB, or go through formal recruitment again. That person is giving you all bad advice. You do not have to be 100% sure, I wasn't 100% sure of my choice but I chose it anyway and now I love my house. Give the house that's bids on you a chance even if your aren't 100% sure. You never know what's going to happen. And have fun!

If you drop from rush and never accept a bid then you can participate in COB or rush the next year. If you accept a bid and then decide it was wrong and leave the house before initiation then you must wait one year and cannot participate in COB. The only way out of this one year wait is if you transfer schools. If you are initiated then you can never join another sorority. You can transfer and affiliate with the same sorority at another school, completely deactivate or go early alum. These are the national Panhellenic rules. In most cases you should accept a bid and give it a shot. Take some time to get to know more girls in your pledge class and the house.
