I think you should relax and keep you mind open to every house! Don't go into recruitment with your mind set on one house because if that house drops you, it'll ruin your whole experience. You may not even end up being happy in the house your friends are in. Be your own person and if that means you pledge to the house your friends are in, great! But if that means you pledge to another house, that's great too.

Going off of the last comment, I want to share my story because it might help. My sister went through recruitment and dropped because she didn't get her favorite houses back and later regretted dropping. So when I went through she forced me to finish the week no matter what. I got dropped from all of my favorite houses and ended up in a house I didn't really want. But my sister made me stick it out and see what I thought about the house. I'm so glad she made me do that because I absolutely love my house now. When you first join any house, it will be an adjustment. But please keep your options open because you probably will end up in the house you belong in, even if it may not be the house your friends are in. Keep your mind open and be your own person! Trust me you'll love Greek life much more that way.
