Heres the deal. SK is a GOOD HOUSE. all houses are GOOD HOUSES. Okay? If you're a PNM reading through Greek rank then you're only screwing yourself over. Everyone self ranks and sadly every house has those girls that say unnecessary crap on Greek rank that isn't true. Go through recruitmentant, trust the system and get off of Greek rank. SK is like every other house in that they have a good sisterhood and Quite frankly if you're looking for top tier then you aren't rushing for the right reason

It's really sad to see some of the comments on this website, even sadder when you consider the fact that girls feel the need to bring other houses down on this website in hopes it'll help their recruitment numbers. I really hope that girls rushing this year don't take anything on this website too seriously. I hope that they can make up their own minds without having to see the very rude things that have been said on here.

Sigma Kappa is an extremely diverse house and I feel like they get a bad rep for that. Literally anyone can fit into this house, and all the girls are very welcoming and accepting (which I think is fantastic). They still do have a lot of work to do, such as their sisterhood isn't the best but they still did a lot better in recruitment last year (I think they ranked up by Pi Phi). Not quite a top tier house but definitely on the rise after this past school year, definitely a middle tier

I've noticed the difference that the 2015 pledge class has made in this house. They've been more involved this year and their GPA went up. They still have things to work on like sisterhood and Greek week (not a huge participation from them this year) but they've definitely earned the title of middle tier.

This is definitely a house on the rise and a house and a house incoming freshman should look out for. Though they are still middleish tier material, they've stepped it up a ton last year and is headed in the right direction

Sigma Kappa is definitely a lower tier house, but not in a bad way. You never hear anything particularly good or bad about them. I have noticed that a lot of negative stereotypes don't have a lot of basis in fact. They typically have a very weak recruitment and don't leave a good impression on a lot of girls. They seem real and down to earth, so if you're looking at this for recruitment, give them a chance, because you might find that you would be very happy here!

Sigma kappa does have things to work on but they have improved a lot this year so idk why everyone all the sudden is attacking this chapter. My guess is that it's one really salty girl putting in all the mean comments. Every chapter is good, they all have their perks and downfalls so everyone just chill.

It's funny how now that recruitment is in a few months some members of some houses feel the need to post negative comments about other houses. The truth is every house has positive points. The truth is Sigma Kappa has really improved these past few years. Their new member classes have been great. They are involved on campus (the new KSU student body president is a Sigma Kappa and they had the most philanthropy hours). They known as nice and classy. Definitely on the rise.

Going through recruitment they didn't stand out to me too much and I wasn't sure if I liked the house or not. However I've met some Sigma Kappas in my major and they are super nice and fun to be around girls. I really like this house now, their new pledge class is making a huge difference but they do still have a few things to work on.

This is going to be a great house. In past years sigma kappa has definitely been bottom tier for sure, but I'm very excited to see where this house goes this year. Their last two pledge classes turned the whole house around. They still need to work on sisterhood and involvement but other than that this house has definitely earned middle tier.
