For the spring it's already pretty exclusive in every house, it's worth a shot if it's something you're really into but the chances of getting a bid go down significantly for EVERYONE in the spring, no matter what your year is. Don't let that deter you tho bc if you're a good fit for a house they'll see it.

If anything I would say you have a better chance in spring rush that fall rush because there is less demand
