anybody know what the pledging is like for SAE and sig chi?

SAE does absolutely nothing. You get initiated 2 days after getting your bid. My friend had to memorize the history and greek alphabet so he was allowed to wear letters but that's it.

You act as risk management, so basically they train you to be responsible.

Basically you sign a couple papers than your in!!! Congrats you just paid for your friends!!

There's no hazing at all in SAE but you do have responsibilities. Just because they initiate you right away doesn't mean that they won't drop you if you mess up. 200ish kids signed up to rush and only 20ish made the cut. All SAE wants is quality men. Also, you don't wear letters until the very very end of the semester.
