any difference between fall and spring rush?

Yes, the difference is in scale and whether or not people are indeed recruiting.

Some organizations get all of their new members in the Fall, and don't recruit in the Spring.

Also, the amount of new students present is roughly 10% of how many are incoming in the fall. As a result, the events are seemingly smaller in scale. This is just from my experience.

Fall is formal and spring is informal... It's easier to rush in the fall because you have a bette chance of getting into a house than in the spring. Not every house recruits in the spring depending on how many new members they took in the fall
