Every house should be polite and welcoming, that's just manners. You can usually tell if you are really clicking with someone, or if they are just trying to keep a convo going. Some houses have a rep for serious ass kissing and being fake. That's for you to judge.

Here is the deal every groups wants girls to find a home in greek life and everyone is nice throughout recruitment to potentially members. Sororities are told how many girls they can invite back and so the "top" houses can invite back less so just because you had a good conversation and the girl rushing you likes you / was nice does not mean you will automatically get invited back so understand that going in....you also get to rank houses you want to go back to most.
