incoming freshman look
by: fraterwith incoming freshman coming in this is a time where this website can really help them get an idea of which fraternity to look at. Also keep in mind in the very begging of the semester there will be a day where you all can come look at all the different fraternities and ask them questions. My personal opinion as a member of greek life that just graduated there are plenty of really good options. Based off of my boys that are in other fraternities and being at their parties the top ones are Pike, Lambda, Tke, Sig Ep, Sig Pi, and Sae.. If you are looking for social life like parties and chilling with best sororities those are the top. Just my personal opinion and feel free to comment below your own opinion to help out these kids coming in. As a Greek Community at URI lets give them honest and helpful opinions instead of just bashing one another

I visit this site time to time but honestly, this is how it is. Those fraternities listed are the only frats that social with the top sororities. Literally text any girl in the "top" sororities and they will tell you they love every fraternity listed above. Seeing the thumbs up on this website on this kind of post just made me realize how over run it is with lower frats. If you're rushing, don't go through this website, just go to the rush events and find out for yourself. You'll find where you fit in easily in person.

Suddenly this board is "overrun with lower frats". So because the growing consensus is that the so called popular frats and sororities aren't well regarded by EVERYONE ELSE, means the board is overrun by us bottom tier losers?
Wake up honey (if you are actually a girl)...this isn't high school. The majority of Greeks are realizing looks and parties might make you popular with the other popular kids, but they don't make you a great organization.
You need to get over yourself, because we sure as hell are over you.

I am sorry for posting my honest opinion because it does seem that the page does no good for anyone seriously looking into getting the best advice. The only people on this page are the bottom tier fraternities and sororities and that is very clear now. It is fine because like always when rush season comes around and the fraternities and sororities with all the best rushes and biggest rush classes are the ones getting bashed on here it won't make a difference anyway. Have fun hating on the top tier fraternities while ur fraternities are stuck at the bottom once again for another semester

That's a load of crap. There are times I see multiple posts per day that are obviously from the so called "top tier" sororities (APhi, ADPi, DZ...also SDT bashing those three because they think they're a top house). Constantly cat fighting over who's top. Some of you may think you're so above it all, but trust me, the popular kids are alive and well on greekrank.
