This is so true! Most of this site is people talking up their houses and badmouthing others. A lot of things are untrue, or at best VERY exaggerated.

Don't join a sorority because of what others think of it, and don't decline to join because of stupid tiers. This is a lifetime membership in a group that could and will become an important part of your life. Open your mind and remember that many people don't get the house they had their heart set on the first day, but they fall in love with the house they join.

And anyways, being Greek in any sorority is more fun than not being Greek at all!

totally 100% agree with the original poster.. Don't pay attention to the stereotypes this site or any one tells you... trust the system too. Everyone for the most part ends up where they belong. I love the house I'm in and if i had listened to what everyone has said who knows if i would have ended up here.

and in the big picture.. would you rather spend four years miserable at a "top tier" house or spend the rest of your life with the sisters you were meant to be with?

This is so true because 1. Your Greek experience is what you make of it, and 2. You should contribute and leave your house a little better than when you joined.
