Same! I got a bid in the spring a couple years ago from axid and a phi and ended up going with axid because I felt more welcomed there even though I got bids to both

Like the idea of this! i prefed what is considered to be a "top tier house" and a one that is considered "bottom tier". I had no idea what this website was or any stereotypes. I ended up going to the lower tier house and it was the best decision of my life. Basically, don't just go with a house because you think it's top tier. If you like a top tier house the best... Go for it, if you don't then join the one that is right for you! Give everyone a chance because they all have their own ways of being great

Same! I did informal (not gonna name names, I don't want this to be an attack on the house I didn't like) and went to a party at a house that I knew was top, and one that I knew was middle/bottom. The top house invited me to their pref party and I declined. I just didn't feel like myself at the top house. I knew the las popular house was the perfect house for me, and was lucky enough to get a bid :). I have such a connection with so many of my sisters and I couldn't be prouder.

I ended up going with a lower tier house too and it was deff the right decision. I won't name names either, but the house I declined from was in the top three and I choose a house that from this site is considered bottom three. Both houses were great, but there was one I just felt like I could be myself more

Why the attitude? It's anonymous. I have seen the same question on other schools and the answers are usually interesting--people don't always go to the stereotypical combos of houses.
I preffed Chi O, Sigma Kappa, and Phi Sig. Ranked in that order.
