this might be a really stupid but 1. howcome sororites dont host parties 2. howcome frats mostly have socialls and no 5$ open parties like they do at A LOT of other colleges?

Yea most sororities also cap their socials with fraternities so the whole sorority can't even go so why would they let GDIs go

I joined a fraternity so I can party with my brothers and know every person there. Not some random dude who couldn't find anything else to do.

Liability, not to mention we pay dues for a reason. Why should I pay dues for social money just to have some random come in and toss me 5 bucks and act like he owns the place.

Just make non-greek friends at URI. There is no shortage of parties, greek or not. If you're a geed, why would you want to go to a greek party anyway?
