Every sorority is doing their own thing but they will each have a pref party that's invite only. Some announced when they'd be, some didn't and won't.
Look, a LOT of girls signed up for recruitment parties, and there are a really small number of spots available. Most of them will go to girls who are already friends with sisters. More people will not get bids this semester than those that do. It's based on the national panhel membership rules. Every house that's rushing will probably have to turn away some girls they would love to take.
Don't take it personally. If you don't get a bid, do fall recruitment. The rules are different and you're nearly guaranteed to get a bid if you go through the whole process.

If you were waiting to hear from Sigma Kappa, Delta Zeta, or Zeta Tau Alpha they have already invited women to, or already held, their pref rounds. Alpha Phi's second open house was cancelled because of snow. Chi Omega is holding their only open house tomorrow. "Sorry" is right. Don't take it personally, there are a limited number of spots this semester. If you don't get a bid, try in the fall.
