house requirements

I'm definitely interested in joining a sorority in the Spring but I was wondering if sisters are required to live in the house or do you have to live on campus? Specifically Alpha Phi. I am absolutely interested in joining but have to commute for family reasons.

Commuters might have some flexibility depending on the sorority. You really have to ask individually. Overall, new members should plan on living in their house for a year or two.
