The process is designed to give everyone a place on a house. It doesn't work when girls "suicide", or drop our midway because the house they had their heart set on dropped them.
Let the process work for you. Give each house an equal chance and an open mind. Ignore the rumors and follow your heart. Don't let things like rumors, not having or owning a house, being a "new" sorority influence you. What matters in the end is that you'd want to be friends with these people.

You have to be a complete social outcast to get cut by everyone.
If you complete the entire process, odds are you WILL get a bid.
Give every house a chance. You will end up where you were meant to be, even if you didn't think so at the time.
