fall 2014 recruitment
by: positivityFor those of you young women going through fall 2014 recruitment, let me give you a piece of advice: JUST BE YOURSELF. Stay positive and social during recruitment. You WILL find girls that you click with and you will find girls you don't. Don't worry about what your Greek friend from another campus says, don't worry about that gossipy (probably false) rumor you think you heard around a corner, hell, don't even worry about your legacy (if you have one)! This is your life. Your memories. Your sisters. Coming from an active sorority member who is involved in her chapter and on campus, I will tell you that we have phenomenal chapters, all with amazing women, opportunities, sisterhood, and philanthropies. Go into recruitment with an open mind and you WILL find the house that is right for you. "No matter the letters, we're all Greek together." We can't wait to meet you!!

bumping this to spread some Greek positivity and support. Be yourself, and take the time to give each house a chance. Despite what some people may think, every sorority at URI has awesome members, does philanthropy work and is involved on campus, and has a GPA higher than the campus average.
