I am going to be rushing as a sophomore for a sorority but my GPA is really low, not even close to 3.0 do I even have a chance?

Most houses are looking at you as a whole, not just individual pieces. If you are amazing in other ways and actively trying to improve your grades, it's not impossible. Grades are important though, every house has minimums they have to make, and if your GPA is crazy low they might consider you a risk.

Agreed, especially if you show that not only you are well-rounded but you are dedicated to changing your GPA. They will definitely take it into consideration though.
