do sororities care about legacies here??

hi im gonna rush this year and my mom was in sdt at her school. does that give me a higher chance of getting a bid??

No being a legacy really doesn't effect your chances of getting in anymore, especially if it wasn’t at the uri chapters…but that doesn't mean you can’t say during rush my mom was in sdt at another school and talk about her experience within the sorority (ie their philanthropy) another words you can kind of use it to your advantage but if they don’t like you they won’t take you legacy or not

Also you will most likely get a bid somewhere it rarely happens when someone dosent get a bid from any of the sororities so don’t stress too much
