hazing

by: bkt

Which sororities are known for the worst hazing? which are good ones to join with friendly hazing? I'm not into doing anything too extreme and my friends are scaring me with some horror stories

"friendly hazing" <- I lol'd... but no, really, just find the group of girls you click with the most and any type of hazing will seem friendly enough.

stay away from the top tiers then, like alpha phi, axo, adpi. DZ hazes as well. And also Phi sig, which is weird. But yeah I would go with SK, ZTA or something for "friendly hazing"

Chi O, ZTA, SK and AxiD will not haze you at all.

AchiO DZ and Aphi haze the worst.

Stick clear of ADPi, AXO, APhi and DZ then. Phi Sig hazes but from what I hear its the lamest stuff ever.
SK doesnt haze at all and ZTA and SDT are both real good mid-teir soroities.

I haven't heard any hazing stories from ADPi. My friend got in and said it wasn't that bad.

Phi Sig will haze you, and SDT hazes you but only a little. It's survivable.

Alpha phi hazes. They lost like 4 girls during spring rush because of hazing.

Join a sorority where you feel most comfortable with the girls in it and where you are respected for the person that you are, not for the things that you are willing to do... Focus less on worrying about "which sorority" because the names are just names, get to know all the girls then make your decision where you see your best fit.

TheTruth is right, the best advice is to not look into these ratings. Disregard the bads and goods of each house and explore on your own. Trust me, I wish I knew that. When I rushed last fall, all I could focus on was getting into the top houses. I didn't realize some of the houses like SK and ZTA would be right for me. On pref round I got Alphaphi and AXO which was what I wanted. But then I realized that I couldn't see myself in either houses, so yeah please follow your guts not reviews.

That's nice and all....but doesn't answer the OP's original question. she asked which sororities are extreme hazers.

and ironically SK and ZTA both have reputations for being nice girls that do not haze. And APhi and AXO have horrible reputations and they do haze. so maybe you were better off listening to the reputations and being less concerned which sorority will make you look cooler.

First of all adpi does not haze, they got into some huge trouble with nationals about two years ago and I can tell you for a fact that none of them are willing to lose their sisterhood over hazing. I know for a fact that ZTA, SK, and Chi O do not haze. I have heard some things about AZiD but they are so far fetched for a new sorority that I highly doubt they do. As for Alpha Phi, DZ, AXO and SDT I honestly cannot say how intense their hazing is. I know for a fact that you will drive for your fall semester but other than that god only knows what rumors you can and can't believe. Just go with your gut and when you ask the girls whether or not they haze pick up on how quickly they change the subject and how sincere the girl is when you ask.
