driving and weekends

by: Be real

So I heard that the new girls are designated drivers for the older girls. How frequently is this required? Also what are typical weekends like because I have a few I need to go home for due to family obligations.

some sororities will require you/draw names in a pool/etc while others it will just be optional if you want to volunteer to drive

The higher ranked sororities require you to drive more

It honestly depends on the house. Some have a solid system where new members sign up and take turns driving, some houses force the new members to drive for a year whenever asked. My sisters roommate had to drive during weekdays, but honestly it’s not bad if you plan accordingly. All houses have a driving system so don’t be surprised if you’re told you don’t have to drive and then are made to drive the night of bid day lol

Honestly some don’t even ask you to drive.

Ours you drove no matter what year you were. Everyone had to do some driving. This is set up for the safety of everyone.
