Do new members need to move into the house or is it optional? What about the next year?

there are already girls living in the houses so spots might open up if u wanna move in as a new member but no ones gonna force u

most houses you need to live there for 1-2 years but they can’t make you move in when you’re a new member.

How restrictive is it to live there as far as guests go? Are you allowed to have overnight guests? Guys??

it varies by house. this is a question you probably wanna save for when you actually get into your sorority

You can have guests and overnight guests. You just have to firm them into a guest book

Depends on the house. Some require X amount of years, others will say “you don’t have to” but will make you live there if they can’t fill spots (I was forced to live in my house lol) if you don’t want to live in a house that says you don’t have to, sign a lease that you can’t break lol

most need 1 semester or 1 year in the house usually as a sophmore. some let you move in right away or during second semster if there is space.
