why are sorority girls so mean here?

I have friends at other colleges and they are in sororities. The difference is they are nice there and mean here. Why?

Honestly I think it's just a bunch of girls being rude to other chapters on Greek rank. I feel like they're pretty cool with each other in person.

okay not true ^ Im not in a top tier sorority and I have plenty of friends who are? Its SOME people not all.
