you can but not every sorority does spring rush if they met quota in the fall.. and a lot of girls try to spring rush thinking its easier but its much more difficult to find the right fit. almost 70 girls go for a sorority lets say zeta had about 70 girls last spring rush, they only took 6 into their spring pledge class. i recommend waiting till next fall

The info above isn't accurate. Whether or not a house made "quota" has nothing to do with spring recruitment. Panhel sets an average chapter size at the beginning of each semester. Any house below this average chapter size will get to recruit. This includes chapters who did or did not reach quota in the fall (all but 1 did). Keep in mind that members leave, graduate or are resigned throughout the year. This potentially opens spaces for membership as well.

That being said, the above poster is correct that not all houses will be available and it gets quite competitive. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't check out houses who are recruiting. Just because you visit a house, doesn't mean that you have to accept a bid if one is offered. You could check out a couple places and then decide to rush in the fall. There's no obligation or expectation if you participate. I say go for it!

u cannot refresh until a full year after after you accept a bid- so while everything else above is true, you will have to wait until next fall according to Panhel rules to rerush

If you wait til fall and rush as a sophomore it's just as competitive give spring a chance but all houses definitely won't be open

you can rush again in the spring if you didn't get a bid
