Alpha Phi: Their pledge class this year was pretty small, and they are pretty competitive since they are a top house. Not sure how many people they are taking in, but however many it is.. it's going to be quite hard considering the number of spots its limited, and they are have a particular type they are looking for.
AZD: Their pledge class was pretty averagely large, they are still kinda new and they took basically everyone last fall. So its hard to say how many they are taking in, but since they are new.. they might be taking in a handful.
Achio: They had a pretty big pledge class more a lot of their pledges dropped so they might have a lot of spots to fill out!
DZ, SK, is also doing spring rush.
Anyways, I think it would deff. be super competitive, in general because its spring rush and the spots are limited. And considering how many people are rushing, and to be honest, you being a sophomore and won't be really considered a sister until next fall as a junior does hurt your chances. You'd be a pledge this semester basically.. and they'd rather have girls who would be with the house for as long as possible! But it never hurts to try! If you are confident with your grades, outgoing personality and appearance then go for it, they might overlook the fact that you are going to be a junior soon! :) Just be VERY outgoing, and make sure that you stand out. Again, formal rush in the fall can be a choice too! Less competitive for spots!

Spring recruitment is great because u choose the houses that you would like to see rather than spend the whole fall recruitment where you literally spend a whole day going into every single house however you do get to see all of the houses. All of the sororities have something great to offer. The Greek system is a great network to be a part of. Simply put if you are more of the kind of girl where grades are high up there go for sigma kappa, sigma delta tau, or chi o. If you like to go out and have a good time and you see yourself as an average student then alpha phi, alpha delta pi, delta zeta and alpha chi omega are more of what you're looking for however they tend to be more selective of who the choose. As for zeta, phi sig sig and alpha xi delta they kind of fall right in the middle. If you really want a strong sisterhood/involved sorority on campus chi o and zeta do the most. In all honesty It's all in who you get along with the most. Spring is good to do because even if you don't take a bid you get an idea of who you like. Make sure to at least go to meet the sororities on February 1, from 3-5:30 in the memorial union ballroom and don't be afraid to ask questions and don't listen to rumors chose whichever house you see yourself best fitting in to because you never know which rumors are the actual truth or just well a rumor :)
