spring rush sororities
by: confusedI am really looking to rush spring semester but what ive been reading makes me a little nervous. I understand that it is not as formal as fall and only certain houses are looking for girls. Should i be worried that i probably wont get a bid? Is it less likely that you will get a bid if you rush in the spring?

Well to tell you the truth, it is a bit more competitive than fall rush only because there is a quota each house has to meet. That can range from accepting only a few members to many.. again depending at what number the houses are at. So with that said, yes there will be a lot of girls rushing, and it is a less hectic bc you dont have to sign up, or go to EVERY house because its not mandatory, where as fall rush is. But you are fighting for a spot.. with other girls who wants it to. If that makes sense. So make sure you have a good GPA at least a 3.0 to be safe, and great involvement on campus. Make sure to stand out!
If you are freshman, you can wait till sophomore year fall. You get more options too! I rushed as a sophomore
