rushing a fraternity as a 23yr sophomore.

by:

I'm going to be transferring to URI, I will be 23 and a sophomore, Is this to old to rush a fraternity?

I'm looking for answers because I'm unsure of what college is going to be like for me, I want to find brotherhood and make friends that will have college be a memorable experience. Any answers or advice would be awesome

You missed the boat. Your better bet is getting into golf or sailing and hitting Newport bars. Still a good time. No chapter is going to want transfer pledges older than super seniors. You can legally drink anyway.

When you're 26 if you took down a 17 year old freshman that's problems that no chapter will deal with.

Just rush, Your not going to get any answers, you will be the same age as most upperclassman, Find a group you like and join, No one can tell you how each person is going to react to you

I had a 21 yr old sophomore in my pledge class because he was from Singapore so he started late. One of the more chill guys in my PC, definitely don't let age stop you from rushing. If anything brothers my like to have a pledge that's over 21.
