rush rounds

I'm going to rush I the fall and I know round 1 you go to each house and talk to the girls and take a tour, but why about for rounds 2,3 and pref? Everyone told me it's about philanthropy and rituals but I don't really know what that means so can anyone tell me what you do for each round of formal sorority rush?

round 1: you see every house, get a house tour, and talk to 1 or 2 girls
round 2: sisterhood: depending on your schedule you see 7 houses no house tour your conversation is deeper and they show you a video of "sisterhood" talk to different sisters
round 3: philanthropy: now you see 5 houses and learn about their philanthropy and what they're all about. this is the most important round before pref because after this you pick your top 2 favorite houses so really get to know the sisters
pref: you see 2 houses and conversations are deeper and depending on the house youll usually be talking to only one or two girls.
then you pick your favorite house and wait for bids day

Not everyone gets invited back to the maximum number of houses each round, so don't feel bad if you don't. 3rd and pref is important because you'll be bid by one of the two houses you pref.

Every house at URI has good qualities. Be open minded and be yourself.
