Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority Ratings at JWU

The last review is tweaking. Yall can’t hold stuff against these sororities that happened years ago when there’s all new girls now. These girls honestly don’t provoke anything and get such a bad wrap when it tends to be other frats and sororities that are also problematic but we don’t talk about that.

Someone in their org in the past few months realized that SDT was ranked at the bottom of all sororities, percentage-wise, and has tanked the rest of the ratings for the other sororities and inflated their own scores. You can see they are doing it too, with a bunch of ratings with similar language all posted on the same day or close batches. PEOPLE ARE NOT REGULARLY POSTING ON THIS SITE! If you scroll back looking at the dates, you'll see how ppl usually post (once every like few months) If you had looked at the scores at the end of fall 2024, all of the orgs were flipped. So here's the truth about SDT. They are frequently in trouble with the school for hazing, that's why their class this spring crossed so late- they literally couldn't start the process. (A few years ago they couldn't keep two fall classes bc all of their pledges dropped) It's known they have the meanest process on campus. They've always been shady with a lot of their practices but rush for this season was ridiculous. They had no public rush events, everyone was dirty rushed at parties, and picked because they were pretty on Instagram in August. They tried to steal girls who were headed towards different homes too. These girls were also only given 2 hours to decide if they wanted their bid from SDT, but Panhellenic Council said they should be given 24 hours. Honestly, it's really not that deep to write all this out here but it's annoying for them to be so shady all the time

Really sweet girls, they present themselves very well. They are a big mix of girls so there are def some bad apples but I notice those are mainly the older ones who probably will graduate soon anyway. They’ve improved a lot since my freshman year (i used to despise them). Overall a lot of potential if they keep taking good girls.

This sorority promotes a toxic environment. Instead of uplifting others, members often tear girls down and engage in reckless behavior, including heavy drug use. Definitely not the sisterhood they claim to be.

i feel like most of them have boyfriends now so they seem a lot less problematic from before. i have only met nice ones but im sure some of them aren’t. overall i like their events they always go all out for themes.

A lot of the girls are involved on campus and I’ve seen at least one of them in each majority of the clubs and sports teams. They’re really nice upon meeting them, some have a bad reputation but it’s not as many as people make it seem.

Over the years they’ve definitely gotten a lot better and their new girls are great. They resemble sororities at bigger schools a lot more than the other ones here. Overall nice girls

I have never had a good experience with these girls, they are constantly rude, and I've had conversations with girls who dropped their process. They all hate each other and treat their new members so poorly. They talk bad about anyone who isn't one of them and it sucks that there's some good people that get wrapped into this disaster of a sorority

I see them in both classes and out at parties and they’re honestly so sweet. They definitely seem cliquey and have cliques within SDT but overall seem to get along

Definitely a good sorority compared to the others and the girls are generally nice.
